THIS ONE’S FOR THE TOUGH DAYS. (AN EXCERPT FROM CARRIE GREEN’S BOOK, SHE MEANS BUSINESS)

How does Friday roll around so quickly?

We’re still easing out of vacation mode over here, so last night I found myself thinking “WOOPS. It’s almost Friday and I haven’t sent anything to my community this week. Let’s just see what inspiration bubbles up tomorrow.”

^^^ This is noteworthy, because in the olden days, I would force myself to sit at my laptop and crank something out, even if it meant staying up past midnight and sucking all of the fun out of the experience.

Do you find yourself doing that sometimes too?

Hashtag progress. Thankful for that.

ANYWAY.

I woke up today thinking, “hmmm…wonder what the inspiration will be!?”

After breakfast, my guys headed to the grocery store (we have family over to swim today – #summer) and I curled up on the couch to finish my book.

By “my book” I mean “the book written by my brilliant friend, Carrie Green, founder of the Female Entrepreneur Association.”

It’s called She Means Business.

It’s full of real stories + inspiration, but these lines literally spoke right to my heart.

It was obvious THIS was the message I needed to amplify this week.

Next time you find yourself REMOTELY close to giving up, hold on to these wise words from Carrie (+ her muse):

“I want you to know that your tribe is out there waiting for you and hoping that you’ll keep following through on the steps you need to take, even when it’s frustrating, even when life gets in the way, even when it feels hopeless, even when you’ve fallen off the bandwagon and you feel like you just can’t pull yourself back up.

I want you to know that YOU CAN.

You are stronger than you think. The universe is urging you to remember this, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading these words at this very moment.”

YES. Yes yes yes.

On the tough days (+ the breezy ones), please remember that your people are rooting for you.
