FACEBOOK LIVE MADE ME DO IT (MEET MY NEW IDEA BABY)

Last week I challenged myself to do one broadcast errrry day this week, and it has been a delightful change in (my usual hermitly) routine.

One of my fave parts about live-streaming is that it forces you to move past perfectionism.

You can’t sit there and obsess over saying the exact right thing, recording (what’s essentially) the same video three times – knowing good and well you will never let it see the light of YouTube.

You decide on your topic, tap the screen, and 3, 2, 1, CONNECT with human beings all around the world.

Crazy hair, not-so-hidden diaper boxes, spitup and all.

It’s beautiful. And fun. And inspiring.

And it’s why, after months (years) of keeping it to myself + my closest friendtors, this week I finally felt comfortable enough to announce the upcoming arrival of my new idea baby, Naptime Empires™

Nope – I don’t know what it will actually BE (first).

Nope – I don’t know when it will officially launch.

All I know is that over the next few months, I want to create something NEW that offers up ideas, inspiration, and encouragement to mamas with big dreams and little roomies.

I also know that in order to do that, I need your help.

This could get interesting.

(In fact, I know it will. That’s exactly why I’m so excited about it.)

All that to say: I see a LOT of enlightening Facebook Live chats in our future ;)
