CELEBRATING THE SHE BUILDS BOOK BY JADAH SELLNER 📚

Did I tell you I went to Disneyland without my kids last year? 🤠

Just before school let out I flew west to meet up with my Polly Pocket bff Jadah Sellner.

Our mission? To celebrate her birthday and cheer her across the final-edit finish line for her brand new book She Builds, which launched just months later in November.

We originally planned to just do one day, but once we started researching tickets, we realized it just made more sense to stay for three.

We had a blast.

We stayed walking distance from both parks (averaging 20k steps a day easily 😵), shared a churro and a laptop, and collaborated on her final edits in the room, in comfy chairs by the Grand Californian fireplace, and even in the single rider line waiting for this Cars ride in Radiator Springs:

We schmoozed with the Incredibles, pixie dusted our way into prime fireworks viewing, rolled with ride breakdowns, and gave whole new meaning to the Rise of the Resistance. (IYKYK.)

If you're feeling a bit stuck in your own creative cul-de-sac, I highly recommend branching out to mix things up and breathe new life into your process. (For me today, it's a study room in our local library.) Enlist the support of friends and/or pros who help you set the stage for your expressive success.
