Much like my 2014 photoshoot, it’s playful – a caricature – and it tells a story in a snapshot.

Our #naptimeempires journeys all look different. There’s no one right way to do this. And we’re ALL figuring it out as we go.

It’s not all glam (ha! does anyone actually think that?!), and it’s not all chaos (although it’s dangerously easy to slip into martyr mode if we’re not mindful).

Our day-to-day realities are somewhere in between, which is what these refreshingly honest conversations are all about.

So. THIS is the reason I brought my dudes across the country to my go to photog / style team to capture this image while D was still itty bitty.
